GM is the first OEM to introduce a Plug and Charge feature to the company’s existing and future EVs that is designed to work on multiple, public networks in North America. With today’s launch, Plug and Charge is available now at nearly all EVgo DC fast-charging stations.

Bosch Automotive Service Solutions has introduced the Power DCPlus DC fast charger in North America, starting at less than $10,000. Using the SAE J1772 DC Combo connector, the 24 kW Bosch Power DCPlus will charge compatible EVs to 80% in less than 30 minutes.

When on the road, DC fast charging to 80 percent battery capacity from 10 percent is 33 minutes, a 5-minute reduction when compared to previous standard range models. BlueCruise is now equipped on 199,000 Ford and Lincoln vehicles in North America and customers have accumulated more than 70 million hands-free miles driven with the technology.

Mercedes-Benz shared that its new Wallbox EV charger is now available to customers throughout the US. Last November, the German automaker opened its first branded Charging Hub in North America near its US headquarters outside Atlanta. Specific Mercedes customers can receive a complimentary Wallbox charger with an EV purchase.
