WLTP and RDE tests for measuring emissions come into force in EU tomorrow

The new laboratory test, the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure ( WLTP ), will introduce more realistic testing conditions for measuring pollutant and CO 2 emissions than the previous, outdated lab test (NEDC).

Provisional agreement reached on European CO2 standards for heavy-duty trucks; 30% lower by 2030
