Straight up, at $127,800, the GV70 Electrified does not sound cheap, but it is packed with gear and doesn’t charge you umpteen thousands in optional extras. Batteries reduce the boot capacity slightly, but the GV70 Electrified is still a practical machine. The GV70 has two motors, one on each axle, and a 77.4kWh battery pack.

None of this quartet is cheap, but all are towards the value end of the EV market. One oversight is the warranty, which is an undernourished four years or 80,000km (double that for the high voltage battery). Our car also had a bigger battery, which adds $5000. Sure, there are cheaper options. Plus it had two option packs.
