DNV GL paper suggests near-term success for LNG in shipping; alternative fuel mix to diversify over time

The global merchant fleet currently consumes around 330 million tonnes of fuel annually, 80-85 per cent of which is residual fuel with high sulfur content.

European Commission proposes Euro 7 standards

The European Commission presented its proposal for Euro 7 standards to reduce air pollution from new motor vehicles sold in the EU. The new rules are fuel- and technology-neutral, placing the same limits regardless of whether the vehicle uses gasoline, diesel, electric drive-trains or alternative fuels.
