For the Model X, the new base price of $79,990 (down $8,500 from the previous price) means it now qualifies for the federal tax credit of $7,500 outlined by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The federal tax credit has MSRP limits of $55,000 for cars and $80,000 for SUVs and trucks. And it doesn’t stop there.

The target for first delivery is the latter part of 2015. Governor Parnell’s $355 million financial package includes $30 million in existing gas storage tax credits. While we continue to aggressively pursue a gas pipeline to get Alaska’s gas to Alaskans, that project is, at minimum, some years away. —Gov.

The Inflation Reduction Act expanded the previous EV tax credit to lower costs for qualified buyers. These credits offer up to $7,500 for new vehicles , up to $4,000 for used EVs , and even up to 30% for commercial vehicles and buses. Between 2015 and 2020, EV charging ports more than doubled.
