In past comments, the CEO noted that the “investors” Tesla is referring to in the event are pretty much all life on Earth.

Tesla is currently being investigated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) after several of its electric cars crashed into stationary emergency vehicles while Autopilot was engaged. Tesla later released an update, enabling Autopilot to detect and slow down for stationary emergency vehicles.
