Minnesota’s state Renewable Fuel Standard now requires that diesel fuel contain a 5% blend of biodiesel, up from its previous 2% (B2) requirement. Minnesota was the first among what is now a roster of states that have introduced biodiesel requirements, including Washington, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, New Mexico and Massachusetts.
