Verge Motorcycles announced today that they have entered production of their Verge TS electric motorcycle. Electric motorcycles have exploded in popularity in recent years. Even legacy motorcycle manufacturers are starting to take notice, with both Honda and Kawasaki planning to introduce electric models in the coming years.

They have 4 models of electric scooters and also plan to launch some motorcycles. The Vegatron is a Honda Dio look alike. My hypothesis is that the likes of Kinetic Honda and later on Activa killed the Bajaj simply because they had flat floorboards. This makes fast recharging possible and provides high currents when needed.
