Where it falls down is its EPA-rated range: a mere 208 miles. We logged energy consumption at 41 kWh per 100 miles. That wouldn’t provide even 200 miles of range. Those are Los Angeles, New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. Overall, we liked the looks and packaging of the XC40 Recharge.

Fisker revealed its Fisker Ocean electric SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The base Fisker Ocean Sport trim level is priced at $37,499, before federal and state tax credits. EPA Ranges for the all-wheel-drive, dual-motor Fisker Ocean Ultra and Fisker Ocean Extreme are estimated at 340 miles and 350-plus miles, respectively.
