Effective February 1, 2020, Ontario residents qualify for a new incentive of $1,000 if they scrap their old gas car and replace it with a used electric car. This Used EV incentive and new Scrappage program achieve the dual aim of increasing EV adoption in the Province and taking it one step further by getting old gas cars off the road.
