In the small five-seater diesel car sector, New Clio Energy dCi 90 eco² is the class leader with 83 g/km. km to 114.7g/km km (-8.6%).

The aim of this project is to develop an ultra-lightweight, gas turbine powered, electric vehicle range extender that will enable vehicle weight savings of 100 kg or more and a modest reduction in CO 2 emissions on the UNECE101 drive cycle.

Ford has dropped the ECOnetic brand from its Mondeo range. The US carmaker continues to use the low CO2 sub brand on its greenest Fiesta and Focus models but its lowest emitting Mondeo models will not be labelled under the ECOnetic badge.
