Cummins showcases 15L fuel-agnostic engine platform; hydrogen, diesel, biogas

At CONEXPO, Cummins showcased its new fuel-agnostic 15-liter engine platform with hydrogen, natural gas and advanced diesel engines offering low-to-zero carbon fuel capability. The advanced diesel version can use either sustainable HVO fuel or biodiesel with ratings up to 650 hp (485 kW) for the most demanding off-highway duty-cycles.

Irizar manufactures LNG long-distance coach with range of more than 1000km

Irizar has manufactured a liquid natural gas (LNG) i4 model coach with a range of more than 1000 kilometers (621 miles) for intercity or short distance routes. Beyond providing greater thermal performance than diesel, noise levels are also reduced by 50%. The maintenance cost remains similar to a conventional diesel vehicle.

MAN Engines approves off-road engines for use with regenerative diesel/HVO

According to MAN Engines, all MAN off-road engines from the current product portfolio can be operated with regenerative diesel—also known as HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil)—in accordance with the EN15940 standard in Europe or the US specification ASTM D975.
