There’s serious intricacy to much of the body design – especially around its sculpted, light fantastic rear end. It’s as if Kia’s designers were properly let off the leash. It’s mind-blowing, if not quite in the re-wire brain territory of the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. Importantly, I’m back to 100% charge and 376km range.

A distance of 923 km using DC fast charging infrastructure. We then went on to do a slow charge upto 100%. We had to charge it to 100 percent - and decided that we will come down after an hour to switch off the connection. There was a power outage at 2145 hrs and the charging stopped. It restricts the power to 1 bar.

Time spent driving the small crossover on motorways, country roads and city streets means we’re now able to judge whether Nissan is over-hyping or under-selling e-Power. The only thing its petrol-burning ICE does is power a generator that supplies most of the juice that goes to the electric motor. Nothing else.
