Poway, California-based Plug In Conversions Corp. kWh NiMH plug-in hybrid (PHEV) conversion kit that enables all-electric mode driving at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour (until the battery pack is depleted) in a converted Prius. The car is no longer limited to 34 miles per hour, all-electric.

See below: "EVJerry" Asher brought the "Spirit of DC" Plug-In Toyota Prius to visit the Las Vegas Electric Vehicle Association (LVEVA) on Monday, November 24th. Jerry also demonstrated additional open source CANView software menus on the Prius touch screen display panel that added enhanced instrumentation to the vehicle.

His sermon is on how electric vehicles should be this country's salvation. "We Asher drives a modified Toyota Prius nicknamed the Spirit of DC and in the back this hybrid has an extra battery boost. At 34 miles per hour, the hybrid uses a mix of gas and electricity. The cost is around $5,000 for the entire conversion."
