The companies are developing an improved axial vane type rotary engine known as the RadMax. The RadMax design was mainly developed by Radian Milparts and assigned to REGI US, Inc. The new vane actuator assembly reduces weight and friction, and the vane actuator design does not require any return springs. in December 2005.
