I think that’s fair since on a good day my 3 ½-year-old Chevrolet Volt has a 61-mile all-electric range, roughly comparable to a used Nissan Leaf or Fiat 500e. Nissan Leaf EV – 4,192. Nissan and Ford are expected to follow shortly. The number of EVs in my neighborhood seems to be growing weekly. Tesla Model S EV – 6,532.
