A new 'A' pillar instrument cluster will show battery pack volts, amps, and DOD. I attempted to buy a manual rack, but the company said they don't actually have one to sell.

Zytek (a UK based company) make the motor and drivetrain for it. Theres a company in Guernsey (a UK island) which does conversions (the Mk1 shape), but I want a current shape model and a 60 mile range is just fine. This must be some kind of private venture. There are already about 300 of them being leased on a trial basis.

A troubled company. As a long time Mopar fan, seeing this company go under will hurt. Chevys volt is exactly what a family with kids would need, as is the Tesla model S, and yea, theyre both pricey. Small size. New technology. An (expected) high price tag. Can these things add up to make a car that people want to buy?
