The very first press car I ever received was a red 2008 Mercury Sable , so let's take a look at the same kind of car at the end of its 16-year career. This one is at the U-Pull-&-Pay in Colorado Springs , which is about an hour's drive from my pad but is still one of my favorite Front Range yards to visit.

Today's Junkyard Find is an example of the second type of Marauderization (not to be confused with Moroder ization ) within the world of Ford's Mercury Division. Starting in 1958, Ford's new MEL ( M ercury- E dsel- L incoln) big-block V8 engine was given the Marauder name when installed in Mercury models. Yes, I bought these badges.

A semi-truck and trailer hauling Cybertrucks and other Tesla vehicles has been involved in an accident in Colorado. The user who posted the photo said the accident took place on I-25 south of Colorado Springs, and a separate report from Southern Colorado outlet KKTV 11 said the accident took place around 7:00 p.m.

Here's one of those first-generation Fairlanes, found in a self-service boneyard just south of Denver, Colorado. There's a lot of great vintage stuff at Colorado Auto & Parts right now. As was nearly always the case in the North American Ford world, the Fairlane had Mercury-badged siblings… but not for the 1964 model year.

Ford launched the Escape Hybrid as a 2005 model (its Mercury Mariner and Mazda Tribute siblings showed up a bit later), so The General had some catching up to do in the green-car department.
