USDOT FTA announces $182M in Low-No grants for transit vehicles & facilities nationwide

The project selections were approved as part of the Low- or No-Emission (Low-No) Grant program, which funds the deployment of zero-emission and low-emission transit buses and supporting equipment and facilities. By retrofitting the garage to service electric buses, the agency will also lower pollution in the surrounding community.

But the cheapest cities for EVs were Atlanta, Chicago, and Cleveland, while the cheapest cities for gasoline cars were Houston and Dallas. There was some crossover, however.
