The DOE’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and its licensee Moselle Technologies , have won two Cooperative Research and Development Awards (CRADA) and a 2021 DOE Advanced Manufacturing Office award to advance the process of using magnetic nanoparticles for capturing strategically important elements from water sources.

Under the new Global Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Zero-Emission Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles (ZE-MHDVs), Austria, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uruguay and Wales are setting an interim goal of 30% zero-emission new vehicle sales by 2030.

The catalyst first removes water from the ethanol (dehydration), leaving behind ethylene. LanzaTech is currently building its first commercial ethanol facilities using waste gases, including one in China with China’s largest steel company, Shougang, and one in Belgium with the world’s largest steel manufacturer, ArcelorMittal.

The company is the importer and distributor for Australia and New Zealand. The build looked solid to us with a very roomy feel inside due to the high ceiling. The E6 is powered by a 60kW water cooled electric motor coupled to a 73.87kW battery that provides plenty of range.
