The fuel consumption figure, and the computed CO 2 figure, are in close agreement with the newly introduced world-wide harmonized light vehicle test (WLTP) figures for the Toyota Prius IV vehicle that have been published by Toyota. An average CO 2 emissions of 114.2 grams per km was computed for the overall trip distribution.

British Police Forces in the United Kingdom are examining the advantages of adding electric cars to their fleets. The Mach-E present at the event was outfitted with the typical yellow and blue emergency vehicle design, and Metro Police Forces in London are requesting a unit for evaluation, as it could be added to the fleet.

The halfway stage has been reached in the three-year fleet trial of the Fuso Canter Eco Hybrid in the London area. Since August 2008, ten light-duty trucks equipped with hybrid drive systems have clocked around 265,000 km (164,663 miles) in eight fleets operated by customers.
