A: I know that Mitsubishi, Nissan and a lot of smaller companies all will have cars available to buy in 2009. The second big problem with hydrogen is that it’s very expensive — energy-expensive — to make hydrogen fuel.

When the powertrain control system switches the car back to running on the electric motor only, the synthesis controller instantaneously sets the system running again.
