Renault partners with R-FIT to launch electric retrofit kits in France

Renault is launching electric retrofit kits in France in partnership with R-FIT. The Renault 5 electric retrofit kit will go on sale in France in September 2023 while the kit for the Twingo will be made available at a later date. These kits can be installed on the popular Renault 4, Renault 5 and first generation Twingo.

PEUGEOT estimates it will assemble up to 10,000 batteries per month for cars, 7,000 for LCVs by next year

PEUGEOT estimates it will assemble up to 10,000 batteries a month for its car range by next year, and as many as 7,000 batteries a month for its advanced LCV range. The team subjects each battery to a series of critical tests.

Gaussin acquires a worldwide license from Bluebus for 6m LMP battery-electric bus

Gaussin has acquired a worldwide license (outside France) from Bluebus, a Bolloré Group subsidiary, for its 6-meter LMP bus. Marketed mainly in France since 2010, it is now in operation with more than 60 cities. With capacity for 22 passengers, Cit-e has 90 kWh of batteries and can run up to 50 km/h. Cit-e Autonomous.

UP Catalyst CO2-derived carbon nanotube electrode material boosts cycle life in Na-ion batteries
