The Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers (Auto Alliance) is strongly supporting the passage of Maryland’s SB 1234 , a bill that would require the State of Maryland to purchase zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) for state fleets. The bill also includes a reporting requirement for State agencies that purchase vehicles.

While the initial purchase price of a fuel-efficient car may be higher, the savings on gasoline can quickly add up over time.

Similar to what we have just seen in Norway, decent growth trends were seen for the Toyota BZ4X (#13) and the MG4 (#15), both seeing record Swedish volumes in May. Having launched in Sweden only in March, the Toyota BZ4X saw the biggest moves, going from nowhere to #17. Let’s see how far up the rankings these models can climb.
