At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai announced plans to offer its next-generation Tucson Fuel Cell vehicle for the US market for $499 per month, including unlimited free hydrogen refueling and At Your Service Valet Maintenance at no extra cost. Availability begins in Spring 2014 at several Southern California Hyundai dealers.

Volkswagen brings its EV manufacturing to America. A big benefit are the three years of free fast charging with Electrify America, which is included in the purchase of either ID4 model. Acceleration was peppy, in the mid-five-second range to 60 mph, which is about two seconds faster than the single motor rear-wheel drive ID4.

Per BMW’s press release the MINI E will be motivated by a 150kW electric drive system with a range of 150 miles per charge and a top speed of 95 mph. The MINI E’s electric drive train produces a peak torque of 220 Newton meters, delivering seamless acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 8.5 MINI in the US.

A big benefit that is included in the purchase of a 2023 ID4 is three years of unlimited 30-minute fast charging with Electrify America (another VW company) at any of its 1,800 charge stations in the United States or Canada. The ID4 Pro S AWD and its dual electric motors produced a peppy 0-60 mph acceleration in the mid-five second range.
