Tesla seems to be putting a lot of effort into boosting its vehicle data collection team, with the electric vehicle maker going live with job openings for Prototype Vehicle Operators across multiple states in the US. In the job’s description, Tesla notes that Prototype Vehicle Operators will be part of its vehicle data collection team.

Hyundai Motor Group’s Metaplant America (HMGMA ) in Georgia will likely boost its electric vehicle (EV) sales in the United States. The Asian car company is also building a $5 billion EV battery cell plant with SK ON in Georgia, which is expected to employ 3,500 workers. Hyundai Motor Group is investing $7.59 billion in HMGMA.

Rivian hired former Mercedes-Benz exec Arnehelm Mittelbach in November as its first plant manager for its new Georgia facility, where R2 will be built. Rivian’s leader said R2 will be Rivian’s version of the Tesla Model 3. The upcoming EV will be built at Rivian’s new $5B Georgia manufacturing plant.
