Yet the study also found less than half of the companies surveyed are working with governments or utilities to address charging infrastructure.

This $130-million dollar investment in CNG capacity for 2018 builds on previous UPS investments of $100 million dollars in 2016 and $90 million dollars in 2017. UPS will have invested more than $1 billion in alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles and fueling stations from 2008 through 2018.

ENGIE owns, through its subsidiary GNVert, more than 150 alternative fuel stations in France.

A few years later, in 2018, Polestar became its own stand-alone car company first offering the Polestar 1 plug-in hybrid, and then making the jump to become an all-electric car brand in 2020 with the release of the Polestar 2, single-motor FWD sedan. Before that, Polestar was founded in 1995 to performance-tune Volvos.
