Land Rover presented its Range_e development model at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week. This development model features a plug-in hybrid diesel-electric powertrain that Land Rover expects to make available in future production models, following the scheduled launch of its diesel-electric hybrid in 2013.

Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery electric vehicle share of the California retail market. Hybrid vehicle market share (excluding plug-in hybrids) in California increased to 7% in the first half of 2013, up from 6.2% in 2012, according to the California Auto Outlook for the second quarter of 2013.

Tesla by far dominated the transfer of ZEV credits in California in 2012. Intermediate manufacturers under the ZEV regulation are BMW, Hyundai, Kia, Land Rover, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Subaru and Volkswagen.
