At a high level, 15 states with 25% or more of electricity form renewable sources accounted for 53.5% of electric vehicle sales in the US.

Little seems developed in any wide commercial sense and certainly not to the extent of the pure electric car. It is important to realize that a fuel cell car is actually an electric car.
