A fleet of 30 A-Class F-CELL vehicles has been in daily use on public roads in the US since 2004. The B-Class F-CELL, which also features a Li-ion battery pack, will have an operating range of about 250 miles (402 km) per tank filling. Tags: Fuel Cells Hybrids Hydrogen. L/100km (97 mpg US).

Daimler has acquired an equity stake of nearly 10 per cent of Tesla Motors Inc, the American electric sports car manufacturer. The German carmaker, which owns brands including Mercedes Benz, already collaborates with Telsa over an electric version of their smart car model.

We Promote PHEV Conversion Programs: First CalCars in 2004, then a number of aftermarket companies, have converted over 200 cars — at first most were for fleets, but more and more are going to individual owners. The easiest conversions are for 2004-2008 Prius (not 2001-2003 Prius) and the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
