The certification means that the new generation of Series 2000 and 4000 engines, that currently account for 85% of our sales revenues, will be qualified to run on second-generation bio-fuels and on E-fuels. Or it relates to fuels such as hydrogen, that would not at all emit CO 2 at the exhaust pipe.

EPA proposes approval of new ozone plans for the two of the worst Air Quality Zones in US: California’s San Joaquin Valley and South Coast

Green Car Congress

US EPA Region 9 8-hour ozone trends, 1979-2000. In the South Coast, the marine vessel rules and district rules targeting pollution from solvents, lubricants and boilers will reduce ozone pollution. Motor vehicle exhaust, industrial emissions, and chemical solvents are the major sources of these ozone precursors. Source: EPA.
