For example the LEAF has a 24 KWh battery pack, and a full pack is good for around 100 miles. Very basic maths gives the LEAF a power usage of close to 4 miles per KWh. That rate would give the LEAF a cost of 17.2 * 24 to drive 100 miles. 100miles / 24 KWh). If you look at you bill you will see a rate of say 18p per kWh.
