The company plans to do it with a mixture of all-electric vehicles, like the new XC40 Recharge, and plug-in hybrid versions of its SUVs and sedans. I duly plugged it into an exterior household outlet. Since it was not a Level 2 charger, I knew it would not gain much juice overnight.
