Researchers at Korea University in Seoul have developed high-performance, low-temperature solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) using silver cathodes surface-treated with yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) nano-particulates fabricated by atomic layer deposition (ALD). SOFCs are of great interest because of their efficiency and fuel flexibility.
