KiOR ships first cellulosic diesel

developer of a catalytic pyrolysis process to produce renewable rude oil from biomass ( earlier post ), has begun initial shipments of cellulosic diesel from its plant in Columbus, Mississippi. KiOR’s renewable gasoline is the first renewable cellulosic gasoline registered by the Environmental Protection Agency for sale in the US.

Reva to bring new electric car to Iceland

Reva, the Indian electric car company best known for the G-Whiz in England, has signed a deal to bring their new product to Iceland with sales beginning within a year. Electricity is a more renewable resource than ice in Iceland. None for sale. At one time there were 16 hydrogen cars in Reykjavik.
