Nestlé Waters North America adds 155 new medium-duty propane autogas trucks to delivery fleet

The new medium-duty delivery trucks, added to the company’s existing autogas fleet of 30 Ford trucks of the same model, will also help the company save on maintenance and fuel costs. Equipped with ROUSH CleanTech fuel technology, the trucks operate in three of BBU’s major markets: Chicago, Denver, and Washington DC.

NREL study finds 2nd-generation diesel hybrid delivery vans show significant gains in fuel economy over conventional vans

The NREL team collected and analyzed in-service fuel economy, maintenance, and other vehicle performance data on 11 hybrid (P100H) and 11 conventional diesel (P100D) step vans operated by the United Parcel Service (UPS) in Minneapolis. The differences in per-mile maintenance and operating costs were not statistically significant.
