Delaware will join 13 other states in adopting California’s Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) regulations. Managed by the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control ( DNREC ), the ZEV program is designed to accelerate the commercialization of battery-electric, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles.

The project selections were approved as part of the Low- or No-Emission (Low-No) Grant program, which funds the deployment of zero-emission and low-emission transit buses and supporting equipment and facilities. Delaware Transit Corporation. A total of 49 projects in 46 states and territories will receive funding through the program.
