Göteborg Energi, the electricity provider for the City of Gothenburg, awarded a contract to Opbrid SL (Granada, Spain) to provide two Opbrid B?sbaar sbaar ultra-fast bus charging stations ( earlier post ) for the HyperBus (Hybrid and Plug-in Extended Range) demonstration project in Gothenburg City.

In contrast to the largely flat terrain of the greater Berlin area, the differences in elevation within the Stuttgart metropolitan area are as much as 350 meters (1,148 feet), presenting a stamina test for the range, recuperation performance and drive properties of the Vito E-CELL. The battery can be recharged overnight using a domestic 16-amp single-phase 3.3 A dedicated CHAdeMO DC 50 kW quick charger can recharge the battery from 0-80 percent in 30 minutes or less if the battery is already partially charged. kW supply which reduces to four hours if a 6.6 kW/32-amp supply is used.
