UPS/Greenbiz study identifies motivators and barriers to electric fleets

Attaining environmental benefits and lower cost of ownership are driving more commercial fleets to electrify, according to a new study by UPS and GreenBiz. In addition to the fuel savings, electric vehicles typically require less maintenance than traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, which means lower maintenance costs.

Ford running 12-month trial of 20 plug-in hybrid Transit Custom vans in London

Ford is launching a multi-million pound project designed to help improve air quality in London. Development of the 20 Transit Custom PHEV fleet trial vehicles has been supported by a £4.7-million Commercial vehicles in London make 280,000 journeys on a typical weekday, travelling a total distance of 8 million miles (13 million km).

Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses entering service in London; planned fleet of 8
