The Colorado Energy Office (CEO), a non-regulatory department within the Governor’s Office focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions by advancing clean energy, energy efficiency and zero emission vehicles, has released the Colorado Electric Vehicle Plan 2020. Some of the most significant incentives exist or will exist, in Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Delaware, and Maryland. Delaware offers buyers a range of incentives depending on the vehicle they purchase. For a new full EV, buyers are eligible for $2,500 or for PHEVs; $1,000.

The Electrification Coalition released two case studies outlining how two cities— Houston, Texas and Loveland, Colorado —are saving money by using electric vehicles (EVs) in their vehicle fleets. Loveland is now aiming to convert all of its light-duty fleet vehicles that work within a close distance of the city to EVs.
