Your friendly neighborhood Greenius has been waiting for awhile now to see which of the candidates for Henry Waxman’s 33rd District seat was going to step up environmentally. Today that person turned out to be Wendy Greuel. Oil Drilling in Hermosa Beach. And yet… I’m just not feeling Ted Lieu.

It’s because all the buses and generators involved in the Fiesta will be fueled with clean-burning biodiesel, made from used vegetable oil donated by local restaurants Patrick Molloy’s, Sangria, and Café Boogaloo. And not just from the look of those tourists who force feed themselves too much kettle korn. Bravo, Mr. Montgomery.

The Torrance Hillside Overlay district , covers most of the historic Hollywood Riviera neighborhood where the Creative Greenius lives and I can tell you that it’s a zoning law that is pure politics. And I wasn’t interested in selling solar based on, “Hey it prevents oil,” you know. It was just too much of a nexus for me.

We already gave the Killer Coal Family a chance to stop disrespecting us and make things right - but what did those climate-changing con artists do instead? They aimed more smokestacks at us and dumped toxic waste in our neighborhoods while they paid off the cops and the justice system to get away with it. That just ain’t right.
