The BMW Group presented the first BMW iX5 Hydrogen vehicles in a pilot fleet that will go into service this year. The fleet of less than 100 vehicles will then be employed internationally for demonstration and trial purposes for various target groups. The pressure plate forms a gas-tight and water-tight seal around the stack housing.

Models of the new LNG ships for the Volkswagen Group’s ocean-going fleet. The further decarbonization of shipping will result in substantial CO 2 reductions, with the use of liquid natural gas enabling Volkswagen to cut the ships’ CO 2 emissions by up to 25% percent (tank-to-wake). The use of LNG not only reduces CO 2 emissions.

The fleet of 63 NGEN-1000 electric delivery cargo vans are produced by equipment manufacturer Workhorse Group. 100 miles all-electric range. The NGEN-1000 GEN 1000 supports up to 6,000 lbs. payload with 1,000 ft 3 cargo space.

According to a new study published by the ifo Institue Center for Economic Studies (CESifo) in Germany, EVs will barely help cut CO 2 emissions in the country over the coming years, as the introduction of electric vehicles does not necessarily lead to a reduction in CO 2 emissions from road traffic given the current power generation mix.
