Greenlane’s initial corridor sites will be located on Interstate 15 in Colton, Barstow and Baker, California, with additional sites to connect the corridor to Southern Nevada and San Pedro, California. The Colton flagship site will include 60 charging stations for heavy-, medium- and light-duty zero-emissions vehicles (ZEVs).

Autonomous technology developer Zoox shared its latest milestone in a blog post today, expanding its unique driverless robotaxi operations in California and Nevada. Daimler and BlackRock-backed Greenlane announces plans to build 280 mile long “EV corridor” for commercial trucks running from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Greenlane says it also has plans deploy multiple passenger charging ports for cars, as well, in a bid to support light-duty trucks and passenger cars.

This week, the company announced plans to start testing in Miami, Florida, and Austin, Texas, as it looks to begin commercial ride-hailing operations in the cities it’s already established in. It chose Miami because the city has traffic lights suspended diagonally across intersections.

Daimler Truck has announced Greenlane Infrastructure’s first EV charging corridor for commercial vehicles in the United States. Over the next year, further locations will be added along the corridor, extending beyond Southern Nevada and to San Pedro in California.
