The EV’s homes are as might be expected, in the more populous and wealthier pockets of the San Francisco Bay Area and sprawling Los Angeles region stretching down to San Diego. Still turning in max EV miles.

The vehicles and infrastructure being funded include the use of natural and renewable gas, propane, ethanol, biodiesel, electricity, and hybrid technologies. The project will result in expanded availability of alternative fuels with 17 new CNG and E85 fueling stations and 63 electric vehicle charging stations.

Our neighborhood is called the “Hollywood Riviera&# because of its beautiful hillside homes with idyllic ocean views framed by palm trees. Meanwhile our long term drought, now its its third year with no end in sight, means less available water to fight the fires with. That’s about a 25% reduction.
