Maruti Suzuki, India’s car market leader, recently provided 10 SX4 Hybrid and 4 Eeco Charge EV concepts for the use at the Commonwealth Games , running in Delhi 3-14 October. Both concepts are derived from production vehicles powered by gasoline- or CNG-fueled engines. This concept combines a 1.2 SX4 Hybrid.

The British premium automobile manufacturer MINI is realigning its model range, with a focus on drivetrain technologies, vehicle segments and services of the future. The MINI E was produced in a small series and used in a field trial to gather important insights into the use of an all-electric car in everyday traffic.

We all believe that an electric vehicle is much more eco-friendlier than a conventional gasoline car. Yes, They Are Greener But… On the surface, EVs are more ecological than gasoline cars because 70-80% of the pollution caused by automobiles comes from their tailpipe and EVs don’t have tailpipe emissions.

In Germany, renewable electricity generation will be 35 percent by 2020, and 50 percent by 2050. Why then do we not have the same clarity of goal for the electricity generating industry here in the USA? The same can be said for the electricity companies that generate power in the USA.
