A partnership project between the eleven leading Austrian energy suppliers and Berlin-based Hubject GmbH ( earlier post ), which is supported by the Austrian climate and energy fund, will create a comprehensively accessible network of charging stations for drivers of electric vehicles across Austria, starting in April 2017.

Just a few months after the launch, Porsche is expanding its charging service for plug-in and electric vehicles ( earlier post ) by five countries and additional functions. In 2020, after performing a comparative study of network providers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, umlaut adapted its testing methodology to the US market , where testing took place in EV hotspot California in early September 2020. There are now 70 electric vehicles for every charging station, which means if you just wait, it’ll explode.

(ZSE), the largest distributor and supplier of electricity in Slovakia, on a smart energy “feasibility” study that will help prepare the capital city Bratislava for electric vehicles (EVs).
