Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced its plans to launch electric two-wheelers in India next year. Although the firm is one of the last large scale two-wheeler producers to join the EV roadmap for the Indian market, it hopes to do it in a fashionable manner. However, the firm didn’t explain it in detail.

At the Los Angeles Auto Show, Hyundai announced plans to offer its next-generation Tucson Fuel Cell vehicle for the US market for $499 per month, including unlimited free hydrogen refueling and At Your Service Valet Maintenance at no extra cost. Availability begins in Spring 2014 at several Southern California Hyundai dealers.

In two packages of awards, the California Energy Commission approved more than $44 million to expand the hydrogen fueling infrastructure and increase the number of alter alternative fuel vehicles on the road in the state. Fueling infrastructure must be in place to support the successful introduction of these vehicles.
