For example, the federal government’s Clean Vehicle Credit (CVC) for purchasing two-wheeled EVs expired at the beginning of 2022. But, like all good things, these will eventually come to an end.

Using the US Department of Energy’s alternative fuel locator , we can see the US has (as of this writing): 129,598 publicly available EV charging ports spread over 50,401 public charging stations. The Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit provides eligible businesses with a tax credit up to 30% of the cost of equipment.

Clean Vehicle Credit : This $7,500 credit was renamed, reshaped, and split in two parts: $3,750 if the vehicle’s battery is manufactured or assembled in North America. The list of vehicles falling into each of these categories is still unknown. or $150,000 for individuals filing jointly, for the year of the purchase or prior year.
