Cadillac is expanding the availability of Super Cruise to an additional 70,000 miles of compatible, divided highways in the United States and Canada. This expansion will make the true hands-free driver assistance feature available on more than 200,000 total miles of compatible highways by the fourth quarter of 2019.

In July, GM issued a warning to 2017-2019 model year Chevrolet Bolt EV owners, stating a potential risk of fires had been reported after some owners had reported their vehicles had spontaneously blazed. All recalled vehicles on dealer lots will need to have battery packs replaced before they can be sold or returned to customers.
