In Norway, VW has made more critical cuts to the ID3’s price tag, to stay competitive in a market that has achieved 82% percent of sales being EVs – 20% of those sales being a Tesla in 2023.

Starting in mid-2016, the plant will produce the successor generation of the successful Audi Q5 SUV. r (Hungary); Bratislava (Slovakia); Changchun (China); Aurangabad (India); Martorell (Spain); and Jakarta (Indonesia). Audi said that the SUVs will primarily strengthen its position in the North American market.

Daimler has signed an agreement with the Finnish Supplier Valmet Automotive for the production of more than 100,000 units of the new A-Class ( earlier post ) for Daimler from 2013 through 2016. Market launch will be in mid-September. We will even switch to three-shift operations in Rastatt this fall.
